Presentation We have acquired our first German Shorthaired Pointer in 1984 as a family dog and for hunting. We soon realized that with an appopriate traning, it would be a very versatile hunting dog. It performs as well in the wood as in wetland. His ability to retrieve is natural. To sarch and to retrieve a wooded game by tracking is an easy game these dogs. This is a dog full of energy that as a good behaviour in house but that may require a good and firm training. As far his hunting training, we emphasize a training approach according to NAVHDA's philosophy. Our dreeding, in family, is ten years old. We select our sire for their natural hunting qualities, their affection of water, their temper, their cooperation, their desire to work and this, without any trade-off on their morphology and their hair coat. We base our breeding on an exellent lineage : Stradivarius and Hege-Haus. The German Shorthaired Pointer has the ability to perform in all conditions. We intent with our mating to preserve the hereditary traits of the breed for the greatest pleasure of those who use of this marvellous versatile pointing dog.
